OPEN LECTURE BY DR. EDVĪNS DANOVSKIS
Department of Public Administration System at the Institute of Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Law, Administration, and Economics, invites to an open lecture by Dr. Edvīns Danovskis from the University of Latvia in Riga, titled “Administrative Offence Law: A Subbranch of Administrative Law and Its Peculiarities – The Case of Latvia.”
The lecture will take place via MS TEAMS on April 28, 2025 (Monday) from 4.00 pm. to 5.15 pm.
Bio
Dr. iur. Edvīns Danovskis is an Assistant Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Latvia in Riga. He is the author and co-author of six monographs, including leading textbooks on Latvian administrative law and administrative procedural law, as well as numerous articles on current issues in administrative law. His research interests include the correlation between public and private law, administrative offence law, civil service law, and the legal forms of government administration actions.
