Biography of the Professor
Dr. Łukasz Prus is an assistant professor at the University of Wrocław, Section of Comparative Public Administration. He obtained master’s degree and doctoral degree in administrative law in Poland. He conducts lectures and classes most of all through case study. He teaches about the legal environment for business and international organizations. He is doing researches on European Administrative Law. Dr. Łukasz Prus is the author of e.g. monograph Ochrona uzasadnionych oczekiwań jednostki jako zasada europejskiego prawa administracyjnego (Protection of legitimate expectations as a general principle of European administrative law), co-author of the book Prawo administracyjne Unii Europejskiej (Administrative law of the EU, 2016) and many other publications which he wrote individually or in cooperation with other authors. He is an alumnus National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution. He is a lawyer (attorney), qualified to practice. He also runs his own law office/practice. Privately he enjoys playing football, swimming, reading crimes and cinema.
Requirements for passing a course
The exam will have a form of Take-Home Exam (homework, case study related to the course). Teacher will send case study and questions. Student has to prepare her/his answers at home, library or in the reading room and send solutions to the teacher. To pass exam student should recognize the problem correctly, core of case study and describe it in his/her own words. To get B or A grade – student has to justify her/his answers and opinions using good or very good arguments.
