Biography of the Professor
Justyna Ziobrowska is a graduate of the faculty of Economy at the University of Wrocław that she graduated cum laude. Currently, she is a postgraduate student of the 4th academic year at the Institute of Economic Science of the Department of Economic Policy. Justyna Ziobrowska is currently in the process of writing, under the supervision of prof. Witold Kwaśnicki, a doctoral thesis titled: „The Sharing Economy as the Institutional Transfer of Ownership” (Polish: „Gospodarka współdzielenia jako instytucjonalna zmiana własności”). Her scientific interest encompasses: access economy, gig economy, sharing economy, innovative processes, enterprise management in conditions of rapid organizational and technological changes, and the economic analysis of law. Justyna Ziobrowska fills the role of the secretary of the editorship of the Department scientific journal titled „Studenckie Prace Prawnicze, Administratywistyczne i Ekonomiczne”. Moreover, Justyna Ziobrowska also runs courses on public speeches, the art of negotiation, and body language in business. As she often says herself: „If you want to be the best, you have to learn from the best”, which is the reason why she takes active part in prestigious scientific conferences of both national and international resonance. Each year she is the member of the Organizing Committee of the international scientific conference titled: „Człowiek. Przedsiębiorstwo. Gospodarka światowa”, as well as the member of the Economy Day, both of which take place at the Faculty of Law, Administration, and Economy of the University of Wrocław. Justyna Ziobrowska is also the author of many scientific publications.

Requirements for passing a course
Written exam, three questions from the list below, to pass a student needs 50 %, for B – 70 %, for A – 90 %

1. What is the definition of vertical and horizontal business solutions? What is the difference between a vertical and a horizontal market? What is multichannel market? 
2. Explain intensive, exclusive, and selective forms of distribution. Explain the steps in distribution planning. How can setting up vertical and horizontal marketing systems prevent channel conflicts? 
3. Business to Business market in Poland – the scope and perspectives of development. 
4. Types of Horizontal Marketing Systems (Example: supermakets and airports having ATM of leading banks, Big hotels having CCD outlets, Cell Phone outlets, etc.) 
5. Horizontal Marketing Organizational Structure (Real estate, insurance, sales, traditional business, additional locations multiply and duplicate costs, creates competition, territorial restrictions, time and resources spread). The role of marketing channels in the determination of horizontal market structure. 
6. Advantages (Cost Reduction, Quality Improvement, Optimized Operations, Specialized manpower, Low demand – side risks, Low bargaining power of customers, Price discrimination) and Disadvantages (Higher risk of external forces, Higher loyalty, Customer loyalty, Low cross – sell, High internal competition and low barriers to entry) of Horizontal Markets.

Classes: 
The final grade consists of case studies (70%), class activity (25%) and student own work (5%)
