Objective: 
Basic Introduction to Law of International Organisations

The aim:
General knowledge on the functioning of the international organizations

Acquired knowledge:
Student knows the legal of the international organizations
Students knows the position of international organizations in the legal enviroment

Acquired skills:
Student is able to analyze the international organizations – its legal character and competences
Student is able to solve problems of the reponsibility of international organization

Developed reflection:
Student understands the role of international organization in the modern world
Student can disscus vatiuos issues on resposibility and ius standi of international organization

Assessment: 
The final grade consists of: exam, term papers, class activity, student own work.

Contents: 
Introduction. History of international organizations. Definitions and classifications of internationals organizations.

Membership in international organizations. Full membership, associate members, observers

Structure of international organizations. Organs responsible for policy making. Advisory organs. Judicial organs.

Decision making process. The concept of decisions. Legal basis of decisions. Initiative. Drafting of the text. Final decisions – consensus, voting power, required majority. Entry into force of decisions. Termination of decisions

Character of the decisions. Internal and external rules. Declarations. Conventions. Types of binding decisions. Other instruments.

Interpretation and settlement of disputes. Means of interpretation. Methods of interpretation. Competence to request interpretation. Competence to solve disputes. 

Financing of international organizations. Expenditure. Income. Budget of organizations.

Legal status of international organizations in international law. Personality, application of international law, international responsibility

Legal status of international organizations in national law. Personality in member and non-member states, application of domestic law, immunity.

External relations of international organizations. Partners of external relations. Instruments of external relations
