Biography of the Professor
I am a graduate in Mathematics and Computer Science. I received my PhD degree in Mathematical Statistics from Wroclaw University in 2012. Currently, I am an assistant professor in the Economic Sciences Institute, University of Wroclaw, Poland. I am particularly interested in the mathematical statistics and its applications. I have 10 years of experience in teaching statistics, mathematics and computer programming. My research interests include statistics, Monte Carlo methods, survival analysis, applied mathematics in economy and medicine.
Requirements for passing a course
There will be a number of three homework assignments (10% each), reading Project (20%) and final written test (50%). Students pass if they score 50% or more.

8. Queueing and Waiting-time Problems
9. Dynamic programming, Travelling salesman problem, Knapsack problem and other operations research problems and models.
