Program: Criminal Justice
The class aims at outlining the European Court of Human Rights’ approach to individual applications in criminal cases.
This course would, inter alia, address the so-called Engel criteria, the availability of the application with regard to temporary detention, issues under 6(3) ECHR, the positive obligations of States-Parties to the Convention, and other relevant issues.
