EU & International Policing
Program: Criminal Justice
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with an interesting and multi-layered issues of EU & International Policing.
The following issues will be addressed as part of the course:
- development of cooperation in criminal matters – EU and global context;
- European Union instruments in the field of criminal law;
- EU sectorial criminal law regulations;
- structural cooperation in the EU on criminal matters;
- EUROPOL;
- Schengen System and European Coast and Border Guards as a part of EU police;
- EU Counterterrorism law enforcement;
- global police cooperation and International Criminal Procedure;
- global crime and core crimes.
