Program: Criminal Justice
The aim of the course is to is to familiarize students with interesting and multifaceted problems of victimology.
Within its framework, the following issues will be presented:
new developments in the field of victimology who counts as a victim and what counts as victimhood;
complex dimensions to victim experiences as structured by gender, age, ethnicity, sexuality and intersectionality;
policy responses in the light of the changing appreciation of the nature and extent of victimhood.
