Objective: <\/strong>
The aim:
Students acquire knowledge about the basic institutions of labour law and social security law.
Student acquires basic ability to solve practical problems in the area of labour law and social security law.
Student acquires skills to recognise and analyze the different situations that occur in the area of labour law and social security law and develop know how to assess their impact on business processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acquired knowledge:
Student has a basic knowledge of employment and social security and the role of labour law and social security law in the economy.
Student knows the legal regulations in the area of labour law and social security law and its properties. The student knows the rules of the application of this law.
Student has knowledge of the basic institutions of labour law and social security law, including different forms of employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acquired skills:
Student uses elementary legal terminology in the field of labour law and social security law. Correctly interprets economic phenomena in the local and global aspects.
Student uses a basic knowledge of employment policy and social security and labour law to solve problems at work and in the labour market.
Student has the ability to create standard legal papers (letters, documents) and the preparation of oral presentations in the field of labour law and social security law using different sources and theoretical approaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Developed reflection:
Student can use basic knowledge of labour law and social security law in order to achieve tasks which are set by themselves or others.
Student is aware of the need to intensify their knowledge of labour law and social security law and the role of legal regulation in this area.
Student using the knowledge of labour law and social security law is able to think and act creatively and to rationalize their actions in the labour market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assessment: <\/strong>
The final grade consists of: term papers, class activity, student own work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concept, properties and internal scheme of labour law and social security law. Labour law, social security and other scientific disciplines. The dynamics of development of labour law and social security law. Modern trends in development of labour law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

International and national sources of labour law and social security law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concept of the employment relationship. Fundamentals of the employment relationship. Establishment and termination of employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contents of an employment relationship with a particular focus on wages and conditions of its formation by the employer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Various forms of employment, e.g. under civil law, self-employment, in terms of social security. Personal scope of social security, insurance contribution, material scope and level of social protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
