Objective: <\/strong>
The course deals with main political, socio-economic and legal theories, ideas and concepts, from Antiquity to contemporary times<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim:
imparting extensive knowledge of axiological foundations of law and government in the context of political, socio-economic and legal thought
imparting extensive knowledge of political movements motivated by political, socio-economic or legal thought
imparting extensive knowledge of connections between political, socio-economic and legal theory and practice
imparting extensive knowledge of main ideas of political, socio-economic and legal philosophy (i.e. freedom, human dignity, justice)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acquired knowledge:
has extended knowledge of axiological and doctrinal foundations of legal and political systems
has extended knowledge of legal, political, moral and philosophical principles influencing the shape of political and legal institutions
understands the connections between legal conceptions and legal relationships<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acquired skills:
can apply knowledge of political, socio-economic and legal thought to the analysis of legal phenomena
can solve legal problems utilising knowledge of political, socio-economic and legal thought
can make practical use of systems of moral, ethical, social and ethical principles<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Developed reflection:
understands the evolving nature of knowledge and the need to constantly update it
can participate in a public debate on political, socio-economic and legal issues
exhibits social, political and moral conscience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assessment: <\/strong>
The final grade consists of: exam ( 80 % ), class activity ( 20% ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
