Dear all, I attached below the presentation with example about investment policy statement for Mr. Franklin. I uploaded also some charts we have discussed during the classes. We have also discussed the basics of technical and fundamental analyses. You can read more about it, for example, on Investopedia (it’s a nice webpage to start reading about many financial terms): https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/difference-between-fundamental-…
Finally, we have started studying a discounted cash flow model. Khan Academy made some videos about this topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WCfVjUTTEY.
All the best –
AS

Classes about investments were illustrated by graphs uploaded below.
We have covered so far: personal finance (boosting income vs. cut expenses, lifestyle inflation, savings, retirement, FIRE movement), diversification, risk and return tradeoff, Sharpe ratio (adjusting returns for risk), asset allocations. If you can read more about investment issues we covered, you can read chapters 1, 2, and 7 of Reilly & Brown’s book.
